Provided executive leadership and management to the software development team comprised of five members. Upheld and exceeded company standards in business development across all markets handled within the EMEIA region, successfully driving the brand name and revenue from marketing. Championed the advocacy activities for the Education markets, and developed an ecosystem of services and digital content around Apple’s mobile devices to make them relevant for these markets. • Partnered with educational institutions, government institutions, and book publishers to amass a collection of podcasts, interactive mobile applications and e-books, in order to boost free and commercial digital content onto Apple’s digital platforms. • Organised a wide range of training and advocacy activities within the education markets, successfully establishing teaching courses in iOS application development at more than 300 universities in EMEIA. • Drove over ten strategic iPad and Mac deployments and innovative “lighthouse” educational institutions, including public schools in France and Gabon as well as universities in Turkey and UAE. • Designed and delivered more than 20 executive briefings and account seminars on Apple’s value proposition each year to crowds ranging between 15 to 500 participants and composed of education leaders and ministries, where a rating of 4/5 was consistent for each event.
Led the sales and marketing programs as well as the design of the value proposition of Apple solutions for the Research and Science markets in the EMEIA region. • Supervised B2B marketing activities in the region within a $300k budget per annum, successfully achieving an ROI of x15 amounting to a $200M total revenue and YoY growth rate of 15%.
