"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing." – Albert Einstein
Summer researcher in the Immunology Summer Research Program (IRSP) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center under PI Michael Glickman, MD, and mentor John Buglino, PhD. Conducting molecular biology research in Mycobacterium smegmatis focused on the chalkophore system and regulation of the mycobacterial respiratory chain, using western blotting and cross-linking immunoprecipitation to study BlaR/BlaI protein interactions. Named the 2026 NK & Irene Cheung Family Scholar.
Conduct DNA and RNA extractions from purple martin blood samples under Dr. Anna Forsman, supporting research on host–microbiome interactions and vertebrate immune function.
Gained clinical exposure across the ICU, radiology, interventional radiology, and pharmacy, observing complex procedures, diagnostic imaging, and multidisciplinary patient care.
Working with Dr. Gregory Carr & Dr. Ye Li on MK-801 and attentional performance in mice, using the rodent continuous performance test (rCPT) model. Focused on understanding cognitive effects of NMDA receptor antagonism in translational neuroscience.
Conducted behavioral testing (rCPT), DeepLabCut analysis, and pharmacological assays related to attention and executive function in mouse models.
