Responsible for an R&D team of 5 design managers and for all the company's product development activities, work closely with other management leaders: manufacturing, quality, marketing and sales; main activities: Develop strategic planning, direction and control for product development. Provide technical direction and guidance handing on project management for all product development. Ensure optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and customer/marketing requirements. Ensure that the product is fully and correctly defined and documented. Hire and direct the development, test and production engineers. Ensure implementation of formal processes to support the product development process and delivery.
