Pamela Cole, MSPT, CWS is a leading Physical Therapist and Wound Care Specialist committed to teaching, helping and healing through conscientious medical application that exemplifies patient centered care. She contributes her expertise as a clinical consultant to wound technology companies, and is also a skilled and engaging presenter, speaker and author. Pam is dedicated to improving lives on a global scale, having participated in medical mission trips to Africa and Haiti. Her devoted patients, students and associates know they’re getting thorough, sympathetic attention to their needs. Upon receiving her Masters in Physical Therapy at Boston University, Pam joined Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN as a Physical Therapist/Clinical Specialist. Instrumental in the development and opening of their Wound Clinic, she remains a Senior Clinician there. She became certified as a Clinical Wound Specialist from the American Academy of Wound Management in 2002. She is a member of the American Board of Wound Management, the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care and the American Physical Therapy Association. Also an Associate Professor at the U of MN’s Program in Physical Therapy, instructing the integument/wound care course for over ten years, Pam received the Clinical Educator of the Year Award from the U of MN’s Program in Physical Therapy. She is a talented and engaging speaker on wound care at various medical conferences, has published articles in various trade magazines, and has been featured on MN Public Radio and Twin Cities Live. Recognizing a need in the market, Pam invented She*Pak™ an exciting new patent-pending product developed by her company, Femicorp, This innovative intra-vaginal cooling device is essential for the treatment of inflammation due to various causes. Since 2002 I have designed and instructed the curriculum for a 40 contact hour, 10 week course in wound care and lymphedema to the doctoral physical therapy candidates. I love the 50 students every summer and this program! (From 2000-2002 I instructed a few lectures for the prior MSPT program)
