As Chief Business Integrity Officer and Global Head of Litigation for The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) and as General Counsel of Ben & Jerry's, a wholly owned subsidiary of TMICC, I serve as a business partner, strategic advisor, and frontline lawyer. In preparation for our demerger from Unilever and our IPO in December 2025, my team and I created a comprehensive and bespoke global compliance program, drafting policies and standards, developing internal controls and training modules, implementing reporting and monitoring systems, and designing tools to use data proactively and efficiently. I support the business to advance strategic goals in a complex, highly regulated global economy and report to the Board of Directors and executive leadership team on compliance and litigation matters to effectively manage and mitigate risk. As a Big Law partner for nearly 20 years, I guided Fortune 100 companies through complex legal and regulatory challenges to achieve corporate goals. I successfully negotiated resolutions with government agencies around the world, advised clients on government procurement in the U.S. and abroad, and supported clients in expanding their business operations in non-U.S. markets. I led global teams in hundreds of multi-jurisdictional investigations, drafted and implemented over 100 bespoke global compliance programs, handled dozens of trials and appeals in federal and state courts, and conducted due diligence in M&A transactions valued at over $50 billion. My experience cut across industries and geographies, and included subject matters critical to multinational companies, including cybersecurity, data privacy, AI risks and rewards, executive compensation, labor protection, intellectual property, and regulatory requirements. I currently serve on the boards of non-profit entities and previously was chairperson of the Board for two non-profit organizations. I am fluent in Italian, proficient in Spanish and Portuguese, and regaining reading proficiency in French. Over the course of my 20+ year career, I have conducted business in over 100 countries, guided Fortune 100 companies through complex legal and regulatory challenges, and partnered with businesses to achieve strategic goals.
