I am working as a Legal Associate at the Centre for WTO Studies, a dedicated research unit under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, engaged in research on international trade, policy analysis, and WTO matters. My research focuses on global trade governance, dispute settlement, and policy development, aiming to link legal frameworks with practical insights for international trade. Committed to evidence-based research, I aim to advance understanding of international trade dynamics and support informed decision-making in trade policy and law.
My tenure at Ketsaal was one of my most cherished experiences that I could have had in legal fraternity. The organisation was a retails manufacturing company in which I worked with the legal department assisting the same in all the organisational legal compliances, drafting agreements/undertakings and various other day to day contracts of the company with their respective clients. Apart from this, I have attended various court proceedings and drafted petitions relating to the Company. Overall it was an extremely knowledgeable journey which an intern could ask for.
If one has an inclination towards the sensitivity of how women are treated and what all remedies can they avail in case of torture (be it domestic violence, dowry, dowry death, cyber stalking, etc.) one must intern with this organisation. I learnt the procedure of how complaints are redressed and how remedy is provided to women.
