I have a passion for dentistry since I was young. I'm always excited to go to the dentist every 6 months for my routine cleaning and check-up. I decided to study dental assisting at Mountainland Applied Technology College (MATC). Working at Share-a-Smile is a great opportunity that I have because I am gaining experience as a manager. Also, working as a dental assistant has showed me how to work with different dentists and different ways to assist more proficiently. I plan on going to dental school to become an orthodontist and have my own dental practice. I am proficient at: ~Dentrix ~X-rays ~Dental charting ~E4D CAD/CAM ~i-CAT digital x-ray I enjoy learning about new technology associated with dentistry, and seeing the difference that is being made with patients.
