Machine Learning Engineer with more than 3 years of working experience on cutting edge AI projects in a multi billion-dollars tech company. Experienced in design and implementation of Large Language Models, AI Services, Information Retrieval Systems, and Multilingual AI Models. Currently looking for roles related to productization and commercialization of LLMs.
• In charge of pipelines for filtering and selection of LLM pretraining data
• Trained an LLM-based embedding / information retrieval model. Achieved 1.5% improvement over leading open source models in Southeast Asian Languages. Model is currently being used in scenarios such as RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), and various recall and ranking tasks. • Spearheaded the project to build a moderation system to ensure safety & compliance of AI-powered chatbot agents. Achieved more than 97.5% interception rate of conversations deemed unsafe according to business requirements. • Constructed an instruction fine-tuning dataset that improved the performance of an in-house LLM by 2% in English and Multilingual benchmark performance
• Developed an embedding-recall based search query rewrite service. The service was able to improve orders per user by up to 3.5%. • Was responsible for the search query rewrite module in 5 regions. Improved orders per user in these regions by 2-4%.

At RC4SPACE, we serve as a Projects Launchpad for students to start and join projects. We also host a Makerspace for students to turn their ideas into reality. We conduct courses, ranging from 3D printing to programming, for everyone in the college, regardless of their background.
