My name is Page Deng. I have a diverse background as an entrepreneur, designer, business development manager, product manager, and strategic planning manager. Currently, I am the Associate Director for Tours and Activities vertical at Klook. After graduating in 2016, I founded my own fintech company, Addweup, which focused on solving the problem of leftover currency for travelers before they leave the airport. We worked with currency exchange businesses at airports to provide this service to users and partnered with electronic payment and e-wallet providers worldwide to convert leftover currency into electronic balances for travelers. Before the company was dissolved, we had developed to six countries, completed a pre-A round of fundraising, and were recognized as one of the most promising fintech companies in Asia. I am proud of what our team accomplished. As a designer, I have won over 40 international design awards, including the if design, red dot, and IDEA awards. Throughout my 10 years of experience, I have used my design expertise to create user-friendly products in every position I have held. This has also given me the opportunity to create new products, services, and business models for companies, which I greatly enjoy. Another essential skill I have is business development. I know how to promote the products I have created and negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships. I have successfully negotiated with over 100 global manufacturers across industries such as finance, technology, logistics, e-commerce, and even sports teams. In September 2021, I even started teaching a course on business development skills, which has already attracted over 300 students. I am a person with wide-ranging interests and have studied topics such as finance, sports, e-commerce, travel, payments, and education. I am always looking to challenge myself with new things.
