About

As the Director of Marketing and Program Development at Providence Mental Health (PMH), Norman coordinates with Founder and CEO, Kevin Maxwell to create custom mental health resources for Gallatin Valley and curate the PMH brand. Carrying his idea for combining youth life skill training with clinical treatment, Norman developed the "Strengths Program”. Strengths applies a life skills curriculum in cooperation with a therapist, to equip young adults with needed tools for entering adulthood, while having the presence of a mental health professional to help guide the clients through healing past trauma. Our approach is Strengths-Based, and Trauma Informed. The goal of The Strengths Program is to fortify the future of Montana by strengthening its youth. Aware of the need for mental health services and specialized youth resources in Gallatin Valley, PMH marketing efforts aim at destigmatizing mental health services, as well as normalizing asking for and receiving help with the family system. Norman’s Interactive Consumer Engagement (I.C.E.) strategies will create the needed community conversations and allowances for PMH to create inroads to innovative community resources and enhanced community health by helping to strengthen individuals and families. As a community activist, Norman Feazell experience ranging from volunteer work in hospitals, teaching Life Skills classes to foster/probation youth, instructing relationship workshops, supervising shelter programs and writing program curriculums. “I have worked in social services since age 12. My first paid job was as a family advocate, serving teen parents. The last 25 years I have worked in every Service Planning Area of LA County teaching youth, teaching foster parents, mentoring, supervising residential programs and doing case work. Joining Providence Mental Health was the perfect expansion for my desire to play an active role in community enhancement.” Norman's Brand Management training directly from James Michael Lafferty (Retired CEO of Procter & Gamble, a former CEO of Coca-Cola and of British American Tobacco), emboldens the stand-out skill set Norman empowers Providence Mental Health with. Mr. Feazell’s expertise was developed from years of mass media work from the ground level of promoting at record companies, municipal political campaigns, hospital Crisis Management, to Brand Development for Sr. Executives and Marketing Strategies for academic entities.
