The responsibilities lie on building and operating a high-performing team to design the entire Technology area workflow, define portfolio rules and gateways, construct the technology-surveillance structure and create the technology roadmaps. Also before that, i was in charge for 4.5 years of the medium and long therm Corporate Strategy of Ecopetrol including the development of roadmaps for success and resilience of the O&G business and building the diversification plan into other businesses such as Electricity Value Chain, Nature Based Solutions and Hydrogen. Some of the projects led and developed by my team were: Updated the Corporate Strategy, Updated international E&P Strategy for Ecopetrol, Energy Transition strategy, Decarbonization strategy, Revamped (T)ESG strategy, Diversification Roadmap, within many others. With 15+ years of experience in Business Consulting in McKinsey, Schlumberger Business Consulting and Accenture, with deep knowledge in the Energy and Infrastructure Industries, Sustainability and Capital Productivity practices.

      Led the creation of a new utilities and value-creation platform through Science, Technology & Innovation (STI), aimed at enabling USD 20–30B in EBITDA over 20 years. Responsible for building and leading a high-performance team managing the full STI lifecycle, identifying initiatives, managing a USD 90M annual CAPEX portfolio, and developing long-term strategic partnerships. As Vice President's second-in-command, additional responsibilities encompass providing support to various departments with their initiatives, alongside overseeing the management of special projects.
