As a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer and Team Lead, I am passionate about developing innovative solutions. My expertise spans Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI. I primarily code in Python and have experience with the two most popular Deep Learning frameworks: TensorFlow and PyTorch. With a proven track record of leading successful teams, during the last +8 years, I have delivered multiple projects across diverse domains including healthcare, finance, and e-commerce. Additionally, as a former professor, I guided and mentored hundreds of students in the field of Machine Learning.
I have joined Parser, helping deliver to our clients the latest advances in the Deep Learning field applied to the industry. I work exclusively for Moody’s Analytics. During that time, I have contributed to the following projects: • Moody’s Copilot: I am responsible for creating new products that connect Moody’s expertise and data with the power of Generative AI, primarily using LangChain and OpenAI LLMs. I am also one of the main contributors developing the Copilot Platform, bringing access to Generative AI applications for all Moody’s employees. Currently, it is being used by more than 5K active users. • Environmental, social, and governance (ESG): I worked on a product for text search and re-ranking over a large collection of ESG reports. • Commercial real estate (CRE): I built a system capable of processing and understanding half a million news articles per day using Transformers models for NLP.

• With +6 years of experience working in the field of Computer Vision, Data Science, and Deep Learning, I have led the Machine Learning & Computer Vision team at a company focused on building applications using Deep Learning (e.g. real-time facial recognition on videos). • My principal role consisted of working in partnership with engineering and business teams to build and deploy new services, bringing our customers the best experience with our latest AI solutions. I reported directly to the company CTO. • The company was acquired by DFW Capital.
