    At Fraunhofer IPA I managed a 60€ million research project called "FastStorageBW II". The project was about developing a novel hybrid capacitor combining the advantages of batteries and supercapacitors in close collaboration with various partners from industry and research. Main topics were material science for cell performance optimization as well as manufacturing process development for a flexible and digital connected pilot cell production. This helped manufacturers to speed up the process bringing laboratory prototypes into mass production. The produced cells got integrated and tested in logistic and automotive systems, returning valuable feedback for product development. On top of that, I did research on electrodes covering new material recipes, dispersion and coating technologies.
