Working for Denizbank which operates under the umbrella of ENBD in Dubai. My domain is "Credits", where I work with 9 teams to execute a large fintech transformation to microservices; improving online banking for 15+ million customers. I also operate as a principal engineer, building and growing adoption of new tech across the whole business. Lately, introduced event streaming with Kafka in a working group. My role was primarily building frameworks to improve reliability and coaching teams on their utilisation. In addition, I contributed to shape design standards and practices by benefiting from my past experience in event-driven architecture. Extensive tinkering with GenAI; building AI skills to facilitate teams' work and using LLM instructions and prompts to accelerate the governance process.

*Managed the Availability squads to build the technologies that ensure online Woolworths customers get their first choice of products or the best possible alternatives. An AI/ML (embedding based similarity - deep learning) powered tier 1 subdomain that processes 100s of millions of events per day. *Coached other managers, tech leads, software engineers and QA engineers in my area. *Executed multi-year tech roadmaps to share microservices across group companies. *Rolled-out "Spotify Backstage" to the business and achieved adoption by 50+ teams.
*Led 2 remote teams and built a social media app called Franki which was launched in US to help people discover new places and generate income based on their reviews of restaurants, bars and cafes. *Enabled significantly more scalability on the back-end via introducing Geohashing on Redis, Elastic Search, CosmosDB and Azure CDN.
