Reported to the Executive Board Member and led global corporate communications, marketing, sustainability and corporate affairs for Karadeniz Holding, an energy solutions provider operating across 21 countries on 4 continents through the world’s largest fleet of floating power plants. Directed corporate narrative, reputation management and international media strategy across the Group, strengthening positioning across multiple global markets and stakeholder environments. Led the development of new marketing materials, corporate messaging, videos and brand assets, while establishing the Group’s communications strategy, media planning and executive visibility approach. Managed creative agencies, PR partners and sustainability consultancy teams across the UK, US, Turkey and multiple international markets, supporting brand positioning, press relations, launches and sustainability strategy across the Group.
Reported to the Executive Board Member and led global corporate communications and corporate affairs for Trive, a Dutch-based financial services group providing investment, credit and banking services across 21 countries and 5 continents. Directed the Group’s external communications, corporate positioning and reputation management across multiple international markets, working closely with leadership teams on strategic messaging, stakeholder engagement and executive visibility. Managed creative agencies and PR partners across the UK, Germany and Turkey to support the brand in Europe, the US, Australia, Turkey and South Africa, aligning communications strategy, brand positioning and corporate narrative across the Group’s different business lines. Supported Group-level positioning, strengthening consistency across communications, corporate affairs and market-facing messaging.
Group-wide promotion extended my responsibilities from Aksa Enerji to the parent company, Kazancı Holding, one of Turkey’s leading energy groups, operating across 4 continents, active in 24 countries and employing over 17,000 people. The Group also has investments across tourism and agriculture. Reported directly to the CEO and led corporate communications, investor relations, sustainability, marketing and corporate affairs across the Group, strengthening corporate positioning, stakeholder engagement and executive visibility across multiple international markets. Chaired the Sustainability Committee, served on the Corporate Governance Committee, and led strategic communications, sustainability reporting and reputation management at Holding level, aligning Group narrative, investor credibility and long-term corporate positioning.
Reported directly to the CEO and led corporate communications, investor relations, sustainability, marketing and corporate affairs for Aksa Enerji, Turkey’s largest publicly listed independent power producer, operating across 7 countries with more than 30 power plants. Established the Corporate Communications function and built the sustainability framework that shaped the company’s long-term ESG positioning and investor credibility. Key achievements: → Secured Aksa Enerji’s entry into Borsa Istanbul Sustainability Index (2015), one of only 14 companies accepted at launch → Initiated and led GRI-aligned sustainability reporting from 2015, with Annual and Sustainability Reports winning seven international awards → Coordinated the company’s first corporate bond issuance of USD 120 million → Expanded the investor base through frontier funds and broader EMEA/GEM institutional targeting, engaging 200+ corporate investors annually through roadshows, conferences and quarterly earnings calls across the US, UK and Continental Europe → Launched the company’s first CSR programme and biodiversity initiative, strengthening long-term sustainability positioning
