Avva is a platform-based start-up that allows businesses to book unique corporate events (both virtual and in-person). When COVID-19 happened, Avva was expertly positioned to expand and serve an influx of 'lockdown events' that saw them rapidly grow. My role involved consulting with start-ups around Europe to create bespoke corporate programmes and build long-term relationships. Key accounts include Netflix, Google and Airbnb. In addition to the corporate side, I was responsible for finding talented vendors for the platform and negotiating terms.
Consulting with start-ups to help drive a culture of responsibility and support. In the 12 months following lockdown, we consulted with 112 SME's to advise on creating an engaging culture while working remotely. Our approach involves group coaching workshops and 1-2-1 coaching. Workshops are completely unique using a reflective approach to promote continuous engagement. 1-2-1 coaching has been a place for employees to work through challenges either in their personal or professional life. Coaching has been delivered to new joiners coping with a fresh start to helping CEO's manage board-level disputes.
