Part of the Macalester College class of 2026, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science.
Built a Multi-Visit Drone and Truck delivery model using mixed integer linear programming
TA'd for various classes, including Applied Multivariable Calculus I (MATH 135), AMC II (MATH 137), and Object-Oriented Programming & Abstraction (COMP 127). Current TA for Computational Linear Algebra (MATH/COMP 365). Lead a weekly lab in COMP 127 where students worked on an OOP problem using Java. Gave a brief talk at the beginning of each lab detailing the content and OOP techniques needed for the problem. Collaborate with students and give individualized feedback and help during office hours. Promote a positive learning environment by giving direct and clear feedback when grading. Value each student and respect their backgrounds and experiences to make them feel comfortable in class.
Developed a new numerical integration technique by exploiting a subtle connection with rational functions Worked independently and collaboratively to optimize our algorithm to perform its best for difficult functions Outperformed the most common quadrature rule, Gauss quadrature, doing even better on harder functions Shared my work with a larger audience by communicating our process and results in an understandable way
