    • Channel Account Manager - Western Europe
      Mar 2014 - May 2015 · 1 yr 3 mos

The Channel Account Manager role meant I acted as a sales liaison between partners, resellers, end-users and Tenable. I was responsible for driving sales revenue though our partner community in Western Europe with accountability for our Nessus sales growth and market penetration. I accomplished this through highly focused engagements with our partner account management teams, marketing and engineering resources within the region building out a strong level of product advocacy throughout the community delivering a net sales growth exceeding 72% year on year. This was accomplished through partner call out events, training events and coaching of new business sales teams to the 'Think Tenable' methodology in which we created a culture of simplicity and understanding of our technologies allowing for high levels of customer engagement within teams who previously had struggled to understand the multiple use-cases and potential customers available to them. This relationship based role developed further my strong coaching skills and product training abilities as well as the complexities of managing sales processes through multiple changes while providing accurate forecasting to the wider business. In short the role was to provide the answers of tomorrows questions before they were required to be answered while ensuring the same level of simplicity and support was continually delivered to the channel as a whole.
