I am the Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence by Biotech Dental (IAI byBD) the first institute ever to be dedicated to AI in dental care. The goal of this institute is to foster collaborations with AI experts from sectors outside dental care in order to offer innovation that empowers dentists to free up some time and deliver even better care to their patients. There are 4 pillars to our work: - R&D and clinical affairs - AI Regulation and governance - Education & Training - Sustainable Development and Performance
With the team, we divised, launched and led the largest public-private partnership on Value-Based Healthcare to date. Working in close cooperation with industry leaders, government officials top academic and civil society leaders to improve the measurement and quality of healthcare delivery and decrease the huge misalignment of resources and stakeholders in that sector. The other projects led focused on prevention and durable behavior and habit change at the individual (human centric health) and societal level (vaccine development & pandemic preparedness and management) as well as implementing health systems in developing economies (leapfrogging health systems). Managed the Community of Governors (CEO's and Chairmans) and Industry Strategy Officers of the Forum's Partner Companies and Organizations as well as the in Health and healthcare-related Global Future Councils (Health and Healthcare Systems, Behavioural Sciences, Neurotechnologies, Human Enhancement & Biotech), where the most relevant and knowledgeable thought leaders from academia, government, business and civil society challenge conventional thinking, develop new insights and create innovative solutions leading to impactful public-private partnerships.
