I have passion for Human Capital Management, and specifically the role that data and technology play in this process. People and data make the world tick! My goal is to see a marked improvement in the use of people data as the input and driving force in organisation planning, design and strategy development. My guiding principles are ethics, family and business value. In 2003 I led and participated in the research and development of the first global data driven standard for Integrated People Practices (SIPP®). It features 47 precisely defined best practice standards that govern the architecture of human capital solutions at a tech and data level within an organisation. I have amassed over 20 years’ experience within Human Resources Strategy, Organisation Design and Operations. I am driven by technology solutions from planning through to assessment - its all about the data and what we do with it! My key assignments include work at several national and multi-national companies covering Financial Services, Retail, Health, Logistics and Petroleum industries. In this journey I also discovered new passions for leadership, mentoring, and being a technical expert to ensure solutions are developed in line with client’s needs. It is all about collaboration, mentorship, and communication, ensuring every team member operates at their best and every client feels valued. Do what you say and say what you do. Overall, I find the ability to combine the technical aspects Human Capital Solution Architecture with leadership incredibly fulfilling, and I aim to carry my past experiences forward, ensuring I can embrace past lessons while continuing to grow. I have learnt that unscrupulous sales people will sell you anything - sometimes it simply makes no sense! Then again sometimes the right thing is sold that will help the Organisation leap. Making these deliveries meet the expectation is where the real fun starts. In the end People will only change and take note of the message once they are ready to hear. Before that – it’s just noise.
