Upwork, formerly Elance-oDesk, is a global freelancing platform where businesses and independent professionals connect and collaborate remotely. I was hired by the client based on my experience with PHP and AngularJs to build private social media for artists. It was my first-time coding with Laravel and MongoDB as it was requested by the client. The requirements were quite challenging but I've enjoyed the experience and the project was delivered on time.
The inspiration behind founding this company stemmed from a combination of my passion and the desire to take on a challenge, with the aim of making web applications and websites accessible to all at a time when they were seen as luxury items. In my role as co-founder and CTO, I led a diverse team of six skilled individuals, undertaking various exciting projects across multiple sectors such as catering, car rental, and real estate. Together, we achieved considerable client engagement and successfully met our objectives.
