About

Born and bred in Ampang, Malaysia. I am a passionate final-year student of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience in the University of Nottingham, Malaysia; also a big BIG basketball enthusiast (a Miami Heat fan for life!). Other than spending my time in my academics and transferring these knowledge I have garnered onto my students, I love any form of art, albeit visual art, written word or songs. And in my free time I try as much to venture deep in my creative side as I can by painting, reading literature and writing poetry. Our imaginations can fulfill great things. Imaginer c’est choisir.

I was given a couple of responsibilities during my 3 months working in Oxburgh Intenational School. Those of which included working at the front-desk, attending to any walk-in parents or students while also providing assistance to any parents calling the school phone, and also relaying any notices to parents via broadcast. Other than that, I also acted as a substitute teacher, mainly teaching English to students when their teachers are not around, during which I was encouraged by some of the students' passion in expressing themselves even though English might not be their first language. Having a glimpse of their creative process also aided in my very own development as a person. Lastly, I also assisted my fellow colleagues in organising an annual prom for the students, mainly handling on the IT aspect of the play. Overall, working with my colleagues and students not only helped me by toning and sharpening the skills I have, but also helped in my growth and maturation.
