About

Solutions engineer specializing in developing one-click workflows for Industry 4.0. The current economy is in demand of fully automated solutions. With my background in robotics and control theory, I continue to acquire the necessary skills to implement such solutions for customers. Those solutions can combine machine control, machine learning algorithms, software development and standard industry methods. I have developed automated procedures for complex workflows in electron microscopy, such as eucentric alignment for TEM lamella preparation using Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems, which ensures precise centering of the region of interest during sample tilting and rotation. This innovation significantly reduces manual intervention, saves time, and improves the accessibility of high-precision sample preparation for industries including electronics, materials science, pharma, biotech, and academic research. Additionally, Iโ€™ve implemented automation and computer vision solutions tailored to customer needs, addressing challenges across diverse sectors. My academic journey has played a pivotal role in shaping my expertise. I hold a Ph.D. in Automation and Control Theory, with a focus on developing advanced control algorithms for nonlinear systems. My doctoral research contributed to adaptive backstepping control methods, improving transient performance in systems with parametric uncertainties and input constraints. This work resulted in several publications in prestigious international conferences such as the IEEE CDC, IFAC, and ACC, highlighting contributions to modular control design and system optimization. With 4+ years of experience working in an international team based in Munich, I have served a broad spectrum of markets, delivering cutting-edge solutions to industries and academic institutions. My work has taken me across the globe, contributing to international collaborations and applying my expertise to solve real-world challenges. Multi-cultural is in my DNA: Half-French and half-Russian, born and raised in France and currently living in South Korea, with academic and work experience in 4 countries (France, Germany, China, Russia). Speaking three languages fluently: French, English, and Russian, along with the basics of Chinese and Italian. ๐Ÿ“ Paris, France | ๐Ÿ“ Seoul, South Korea | ๐Ÿ“ St-Petersburg, Russia

Experience

  • Solutions Engineer at ZEISS Microscopy
    Feb 2022 - Present ยท 4 yrs 6 mos

I develop novel solutions powered by intelligent machines which will help our customers to master the challenging processes in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. - SPAS / SRD automatic solution for Samsung Memory. The software developed was the main argument that led to the sell of a EM system. - TEM Lamella automated preparation. Developed automated eucentric alignment procedures for TEM lamella preparation using Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems, ensuring precise centering of the region of interest (ROI) during sample tilting or rotation. This innovation reduces manual intervention, enhances workflow efficiency, and improves accessibility to high-precision sample preparation in materials science and biology.

  • Software Developer at ZEISS Group
