I'm an entrepreneur and startup guy, often finding myself living on the edge. Product strategy, full-stack coding, and interaction design (CX/UX), have been recurring themes, through passion and experience. I also ended up doing lots of angel investing, much thanks to proximity to founders & low risk aversion. These and other unlisted companies include: Plejd, Soundtrack Your Brand (Spotify Business), Dreams, Lawline, LGND, Diet Doctor, Vakta, Brunkeberg Systems, Ally, Einride, Luvly, Königsegg, SpaceX, xAI. The Web (1.0) was where I got my true start in the mid-90s, with HTML and Flash (until 2001), then Ruby on Rails. Before that, programming text adventure games in BASIC along with graphics design on my first computer love, The Amiga 500, was where I began to crawl. In the early days of mobile-first apps I cut my teeth doing primarily iOS development (Swift/Objective-C), and many times ended up full-stack to do the backend as well, often out of necessity. Since 2013 my focus shifted towards web scale systems, eventually built using Clojure/Script, with the magical Rama data flow system as the base. Currently spending most work days orchestrating AI agents in Claude Code and Grok Build – and absolutely loving it! My mentor-at-a-distance in design and life is Steve Jobs, whom I never had the pleasure to directly talk to but alas be in presence of. Currently living ones include Demis Hassabis, Bret Victor, Rich Hickey, Elon Musk, Maria Popova, Salman Khan, Paul Graham, Andrej Karpathy & the one Mike Lee. Long dead mentors include Orwell, Einstein, Spinoza, Clare W Graves & Hesse. RIP Marshall Rosenberg, S N Goenka, Christopher Hitchens. I currently live and work outside Stockholm in the beautiful countryside near the sea. My professional and personal network is global, and I love to travel and meet new people. Intelligent conversations with other human beings on any subject is something I treasure highly – I don't think AI will replace that anytime soon. Along with my family – my brilliant sons and my loving wife – and with the pursuit of creating beautiful, helpful, functional things, to be of use to civilisation, my aim is to be present and thoughtful in every moment of life, and to strive for simplicity everywhere.
