My passion is interactive products; developing, designing, evaluating and testing them towards delivering a final coherent product. My expertise is interaction design and user experience design around and within the product. The goal for me is to create coherent and joyful experiences, through a well designed user interaction. What really drives me is the actual interaction with a product, which then allows for the user experience to be lifted in a certain direction. I believe that designing is wicked, there is no perfect way of solving a problem, but there is bad and good solutions to a problem. Iterative design cycles and user participation is the corner stone of a good design. I have specialised in interactive products both in my BSc. and MSc. in the physical and digital world. I took a semester abroad at Techenishe Universiteit Endhoven at the dept. of Industrial Design to gain a broader perspective on design.
As a User Experience designer, at The Concept Center, The LEGO Group's Front-end Technology Innovation Center, my main responsibilities are, user research, user involvement throughout the process (co-creation), prototyping, testing prototypes, collaboration with universities (student projects), organization (e.g. MADE), supplier innovation and collaboration. Further I am in charge and the main driver of The Concept Centers innovation workshops.
I consulted and guided the students with their projects.
I taught Arduino programming and basic electronics for Arduino.
