Ensure quoted rates to customers cover all company costs, maintain updated tariffs, and prepare import/export freight invoices as well as local charge invoices for customers and forwarders. Manage DR/CR notes for foreign agents and local forwarders, reconcile statements of account (SOA) for container recovery and payments, and resolve pricing discrepancies with both foreign and local agents. Prepare requisite documentation for foreign remittance processing, while also overseeing and reviewing the remittance activities conducted by junior staff. Prepare and compile detailed information on sales tax applicable to services, and oversee the accurate uploading of sales tax returns for services rendered. Assisting with income tax matters and collaborating with consultants on related issues. Acting as a project manager for shipping system design and deployment, coordinating requirements with business users and software vendors. Conducting initial quality assurance on software delivery before deployment. Prepare annual financial statements following (IFRS), while also managing the Preparation of management accounts and forecasting reports. Assessing daily bank positions, overseeing day-to-day department activities, conducting monthly bank reconciliations, and supervising petty cash transactions. Review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy, and compliance with established procedures and standards, and guide as necessary to address any issues or discrepancies.
Address inquiries from both overseas and local clients, and generate invoices for customers located both domestically and internationally. Obtain weekly shipment ratings from the marketing department and seek approval from the supervisor, while ensuring accurate updating of approved rates in the system. Ensure that correct accounting entries will be passed into the system.

Accounts: • Preparation of Monthly Profit & Loss Account and submission the same to the CEO.
