Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
I am a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon and Clinical Director at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, where I lead transformation of orthopaedic surgical services — including trauma service redesign, fracture clinic transformation, theatre productivity, and workforce planning. Alongside my clinical role, I lead the NHS Postgraduate Virtual Learning Environment (PGVLE) — a national digital education platform that grew from a COVID-era regional response into infrastructure now used by tens of thousands of postgraduate trainees across multiple specialties. I hold a secondment with NHS England in this capacity. I am also BOA Lead for Simulation & Digital Education, an Executive MBA candidate at the University of Birmingham, and founder of the Birmingham Orthopaedic Network — a regional collaborative I built in 2017 that continues to grow independently. Through Albucasis Ltd, I am developing a consultancy portfolio focused on healthcare leadership, digital transformation, and service redesign. My work sits at the intersection of clinical excellence, organisational leadership, and scalable digital innovation. I am interested in advisory, strategic, and non-executive opportunities with organisations working at that same intersection.
