- Operational and strategic controlling of the subsidiaries and the holding company - Conception & control of group-wide planning processes (forecasting, budgeting, mid-term planning), as well as tracking of planning compliance in close cooperation with the managing directors of the subsidiaries. Creation of scenario calculations and deviation analyses - Evaluation of business cases - Reporting incl. analysing trends and deviations from targets and deriving recommendations for action, as well as active participation in subsequent results meetings - Cost control: monitoring and analysis of cost structures within the Group, identification of savings potential and initiation of cost optimisation measures - Performance management: process analysis with local experts from the subsidiaries to identify optimisation potential. Development and implementation of KPI systems to monitor the performance of the various business units and support the achievement of targets - Risk management: Identification and assessment of financial risks at country level (e.g. tracking of credit risks and overdue receivables) and development of risk minimisation strategies. - Internal communication: set controlling frameworks, working closely with other departments and country management to ensure that the Group's financial and strategic objectives are pursued - Team management: Management and development of the controlling team, ensuring the ongoing training and motivation of employees. - Process optimisation: Continuous development of controlling processes, reporting and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Preparation of Budget, Forecasts, Mid-term Plan - Preparation of financial and management reports for Corporate HQ, Country management - Headcount Controlling, FTE and cost planning with local and Group Management - Perform regular profitability and deviation analysis with explanations, preparation and interpretation of ad-hoc reports - Participation in monthly and yearly closing cycle in cooperation with the Accounting Team - Support ad hoc activities and projects within the Corporate finance team, support new process implementations - Preparation of Management presentations
- Business Partner for the Customer Unit in Sales and Marketing Organization - Preparation of Budget, Financial forecasts cycles - Evaluate actual performance, prepare regular profitability analysis, explain deviations - P&L simulations with different business scenarios, Risk and Opportunity calculations - Support preparation of business cases and provide up to date information for commercial decisions - Perform rebate reconciliations by accounts, by products, ensure proper usage of rebates - Liaise with pricing administrator on proper pricing/rebate setup - Liaise with Sales & Marketing, Order Management teams and Shared Service Center on a daily basis - Support Internal Audit, ensure SOX compliance - Support roll-out of new finance/sales/marketing controlling systems, processes - Prepare management and other ad-hoc reports based on business requirements
- Organize and coordinate all Financial Controlling activities for Central East Europe - Preparation of financial yearly budget, monthly forecasts - Perform closing and preparation of reporting package - Maintain policies and ensure company is in line with internal policies - Responsible for SOX compliance, Tax audits - Provide assurance of internal and external statutory audits - Ensure legal compliance, contract management - Coordinate the work of external accountants in Central East Europe (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary formerly Serbia and Ukraine) - Coordination of HR matters, SAP HR database, Headcount forecasting - Development and roll-out of Controlling systems (for OPEX) - Supervision of work of Credit Controller and Junior Controller - Participation in moving to Shared Service Center (iShop implementation)
