Together with three partners I co-founded Career Professionals. This is a media production company that focuses on the connection between young professionals and the business life. We were contracted by RTL Z where we broadcasted our TV-show: The Business Battle. This was a talentshow where young professionals were battling eachother by solving complex business cases presented to them by participating companies. Besides TV, we had a big focus on digital/online platforms, like YouTube, Social Media and the online broadcasting channel of RTL and offline events to connect students to leading companies. Founding this start-up taught me to overview and rethink a broad range of concepts, form and execute strategies, selling my own brand/product and leading/managing people.
With a group of nine students we hosted a career event for financially oriented students in Amsterdam. This two-day event is focused on the interaction between companies in different branches, like banking, accounting, investments and consultancy, and high potential students. As a treasurer I am responsible for the budgetary framework (approximately €90,000) and the contact with the location of this event.
