As a Member at Large, I support OC CALSA’s governance and strategic priorities by contributing to board deliberations, advancing equity-centered leadership, and supporting initiatives such as Honoring Our Own, membership engagement, and regional collaboration. I actively partner with fellow board members to strengthen outreach, elevate Latino/a leadership pathways, and ensure alignment with CALSA’s mission and statewide priorities.
As the Director of Equity and Diversity and a Board Member for ACSA Region 17, I support the board in developing and implementing strategies that promote equity and diversity across the region. I actively participate in leadership forums and board meetings to advocate for and support decision-making that fosters equitable outcomes through policies, practices, and systems. Additionally, I promote and participate in regional events, collaborating with stakeholders to advance equity initiatives.
