Senior executive responsible for administrative, financial, budgeting, procurement and corporate governance functions within a Local Health Authority in the Italian National Health Service
Key aspects of my role include: - overseeing hospital's operations, implement strategic plans working in harmony with the CEO; - connecting with hospital department leaders regularly to ensure consistent operations, discuss operations and future goals.; - strategic responsibility for ensuring high levels of ongoing patient care, as well as ensuring the day-to-day delivery of clinical delivery; - Ensure predictive operational management to anticipate and to manage both opportunities and problems in hospital's operativity.
Key aspects of my role include: Strategic Planning: Aligning IT infrastructure with business objectives. Innovation Leadership: Spearheading digital transformation and innovation. Risk Management: Overseeing cybersecurity and data protection strategies. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and other business partners. Budget Oversight: Managing the IT budget with a focus on ROI and business growth.
The management control unit supports the General Director and the Strategic Departments in their decision-making processes by controlling the production budget and measuring the performance of the hospital operating units It covers the following main functions: - Creation of ad hoc analyzes as well as regular, automated evaluations using the tool chain (SQL, Excel, VB) -Optimization of the data warehouse, design of workflows and internal processes. Implementation and support of the business intelligence platform - Preparation of budget proposals in line with planning and business and in compliance with the provisions of the strategic direction, as well as economic compatibility; - Projection and development of the reporting system, systematic surveys of costs and revenues for goods to allow for efficiency and economy assessments; - In-depth analysis of valuable data on events and deviations in order to identify the source of critical problems and generate proposals for solutions.
