My research centered around Mycobacterium tuberculosis and the role of transcription factors in the resistance of antibiotics. It was supervised by Konstantin Brodolin in the Bacterial Enzymes and Antibiotics Resistance team at the Institut of Research on Infectiology of Montpellier. - Resolved two structures of Mycobacterium tuberculosis RNA polymerase by CryoEM at less than 2.4Å nominal resolution - Purification of 10 recombinant proteins involved in the transcription by FLPC - Numerous biochemical analyses such as transcription assays involving handling radioactive samples, fluorescence polarization, microfluidic diffusional sizing or more regular assays (EMSA, KMnO4, DNAse footprinting...) - Screening the activity of antibiotic derivatives. Work published: Jung et al. 2024, Angewandte Chemie - Writing of a scientific manuscript article as a first author (in progress for publication). - Shared my work as oral presentation and posters at international congress
