- To Control and revise charter party documents - To Maintain records or tonnage within the company’s database. - To Prepare freight invoice and realize / settle freight / hire with owners / charterers. - To Prepare voyage instruction for exclusive. - Appointment of port agents. - To Monitor ship position and following up daily vessel operational matter. - Co-ordination and follow up between captains, ship owners, agents and stevedores in loading and discharging ports. - To Work with cargo operations will also involve calculating fees eg port disbursements and settlements, as well as freight cost estimations for customers. - To Request Bills of Lading instructions, check stowage plans for accuracy and feasibility, ensuring that relevant information is passed to interested parties who require the information to ensure smooth operation. - Responsible for full operation of vessels chartered including physical bunker survey at port.
