As a Fellow VC Investor, VU Venture Partners gives me access to several investments for one of the world's most impactful startups. Until this point I was able to complete my first VC investment by investing in HealX which is an AI-powered, patient-inspired treatment for rare diseases. The company is aiming to transform the slow trraditional drug discovery, lower its cost, and siginifcantly up the low success rate (5%). This has led to a culture of filling pipelines with blockbuster drugs, targeted to large patient populations, in order to offset the cost of failures. By using AI and other frontier technologies to redevelop, combine and enhance known compounds, we are building a pipeline of new and effective therapies.
