After 30 years of dedicating myself to the restaurant & hospitality industry I found that it was time for me to shift gears and offer my expertise in these fields to other Chefs, managers, restaurant owners,HR department heads, bartenders, servers,...and anybody else that has the desire to better themselves and/or their places of work. My focus is on Emotional Intelligence coaching, facilitating in stress management, anger management, conflict resolution, communication, and self awareness. All of which will lead to a better workplace environment: less sick time used; better employee retention and tenure; employees calling off less and with fewer episodes of tardiness. I have always been of the belief that 'It should be fun to go to work' and by instituting the ASA model that I have learned into your life and workplace you will find that it can be, and is, fun to go to work...and that life in general will be much more enjoyable.
As Director at Anger Solutions Atlanta/Anger Solutions FVIP I have the distinct pleasure of facilitating to Men a program of 'accountability' for their actions in situations of family violence; Anger Solutions conducts a 24 week FVIP class that delivers a facilitation of intervention based on the Men Stopping Violence curriculum "Men At Work: Building Safe Communities". This course is certified by the State of Georgia and covers an innovative and multidisciplinary curriculum that: explores male violence against women in an accessible manner, challenges men to take responsibility for their actions, and provides the educational experience necessary to become allies in ending violence against women; We show Men how hold themselves accountable for their actions, and how they can choose to be part of a movement to create safe communities for women and girls.
I worked as a contract Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP) facilitator at numerous locations for Families First in the Atlanta area [including the Atlanta, Decatur, East Point and Douglasville areas of Georgia] holding men accountable for their actions against Women and children using the Men Stopping Violence curriculum of intervention. These classes are State/Court mandated to said 'students'/clients for a 24 week program mandate.
