• Loading and unloading of cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material) on and off aircraft. • The receiving, delivering, and physical handling of freight and company material, export at the designated express docks, mail and baggage in the outbound baggage room. • The completion of forms and messages related to and necessary for the performance of the designated locations of the functions described. • Proficient in the operation of forklifts to move items around the warehouse or load trucks on the ducks. • Responsible for collating information on equipment, material inventory and general store management. • May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment. • May be assigned to assist in monitoring security of facility. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors' activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.

, Security Responsible crime prevention / protection risk analysis of potential threats to airline operators (Threat Evaluation and Crisis Management). Responsible for the development and articulation of security policies and strategies. Responsible for developing a Security Operations Manual, including emergency and incident management procedures as well as security awareness, training, exercises, and methodologies. Ensuring implementation and total compliance to the security programme. Gathering and assessing information on security-related events that may affect the business, determining the probability of these incidents and developing appropriate preventive measures Overseeing ongoing training of all guards on security procedures and operations Developing organization-wide security awareness as appropriate for the business Ensuring that Security policies, procedures and practices are being effectively carried out and that Management is updated on security issues Initiating investigations into security breach issues and handles disciplinary matters associated with such breaches Liaising with the Nigerian Police Force and other agencies to provide additional security when required Develops service level agreements with relevant service providers in collaboration with the legal counsel. Oversees, instructs and coordinates activities and performance of the contracted Security Agencies.
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the security department. Posted to BAT Cameroon on temporary secondment with the responsibility of managing BATCo operations in four Countries, Cameroon, Chad, Congo and Gabon. Responsible for the implementation of the company's Safety and Security Policies as endorsed by the Managing director and also to participate in all security awareness programmes. Responsible for investigating security related incidents as it affects staff and the company assets. Responsible for conducting threat assessment and analysis and security reviews on BAT Nigeria and BAT Cameroon sites and locations - Security Auditing. Responsible for journey management. Ensuring that necessary precautionary measures are put in place while setting up and supervising armed-escort services for trips assessed to be of security risk within and outside the region. Ensures the effective coordination of the security arrangements for our visitors, securing company perimeters and the residences. Directly responsible for notifying the top management team of all critical safety and security incidents. Participated in recruitment of new staff into the department
