ICU Medical relies on a Finance Director with over 15 years of international finance experience spanning Asia and Europe to lead the EMEA Finance Shared Service Center. Managing multi-country financial operations, including IFRS/local GAAP and US GAAP reporting, the team ensures accurate accounting, tax compliance, and cash management. My role also includes overseeing financial processes for the Dutch holding entity and integrating operations post-acquisition for streamlined financial flows. With a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) qualification and expertise in financial management, analysis, and risk mitigation, I support critical decision-making while fostering a culture of accountability across the shared services center team.
• Management of the EMEA Finance Shared Service Center (6 direct reports + 2 indirect) in The Netherlands servicing Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK, Germany and South Africa. • Financial management and reporting of our entities falling under the Dutch holding (accounting, cash, AR, AP, tax declarations, month-end closings, audit, TP docs and entries) in IFRS/local GAAP and US GAAP • In charge of the US Gaap reporting of our Polish plant.
• Management of the EMEA Finance Shared Service Center (6 direct reports + 1 indirect) in The Netherlands servicing Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK and South Africa. • Reporting to the EMEA Director of Finance • Financial management and reporting of our entities falling under the Dutch holding (accounting, cash, AR, AP, tax declarations, month-end closings, audit, TP docs and entries) in IFRS/local GAAP and US GAAP • Part of the integration team after the acquisition of Hospira by ICU Medical (Oracle ERP implementation, review and streamline of financial flows and operations)
• Teaching Management Control courses for the MSc in Financial Management program
• Daily oversite management of the Finance Hub staff (4 people) in Amsterdam (AP/AR) • Reporting to the International Controller based in London • Financial management and reporting of our UK and Dutch entities (accounting, cash, AR, AP, tax declarations, month-end closings, audit) in IFRS/local GAAP and US GAAP • Managing the payroll cycles (from HR software control to input in Oracle and payment)
• Financial control and reporting for the French and Dutch entities amid the France-Spain-Italy-Holland Hub based in Amsterdam (budget, variances and risks analysis) • Fully in charge of the financial management and follow-up of the French entity (accounting, cash, budgeting, tax and relation with external parties) • Direct and transversal management
