Conducting research into cryptocurrency investment opportunities and developing these into clear presentations with insightful recommendations. Investing in small seed projects with a long term view, I used various CEX's and DEX's to buy and sell cryptocurrency.
Implemented the Women’s Service referrals process - contacting vulnerable women via phone, email and WhatsApp to build a rapport and level of trust. It was my responsibility to listen to and understand their needs, gain information, then liaise with our Coaches to determine their capacity to take them on to our service, or, advise these women on other options when this wasn’t possible. Ran a weekly ‘Skills Cafe’ for women, a drop-in service where I provided service users assistance with their studies or other tasks, as well as being an empathic listening ear. I helped women create and write their first CV and seek employment, complete GCSE homework, and perform personal finance admin, amongst other things. Assisted with organising Wellbeing events run for the service users. Tasks included leading adult & youth groups on excursions around London and encouraging their involvement, setting up, decorating and closing down the centre for events such as International Women’s Day and Eid celebrations, organising and serving catering, taking the registers and photography consents from all attendees of these events, as well performing any other tasks the team needed help with. Conducted surveys within the Women’s & Youth Services, building rapport with a range of young girls and older women, helping them complete our surveys to gather accurate data. Constructed academic reports based on the data I collected from surveys and focus groups, and distributed these amongst the Women’s & Youth Services and to potential donors, to increase funding for the centre’s services. Achievements - Created and led focus-group style activities with groups of Women and Girls to listen to and gain their feedback on the service, discussing their recommendations that have now been implemented into the programme.
