I worked ad hoc promotional shifts for WKD, promoting products at events and venues. This involved engaging with customers, offering tasters, and encouraging sales while following brand guidelines. I also represented WKD at trade shows, including the Unitas Trade Show in Liverpool, speaking with businesses and retailers about the products.
Responsibilities included taking customer orders, using the till, making drinks and coffees, and general FOH duties. Required being friendly and approachable with customers while helping keep the cafe running smoothly during busy periods.
Completed a four-week marketing placement, gaining hands on experience in digital marketing and event promotion. Supported social media activity by helping create content and track engagement. Worked alongside internal teams and external partners on marketing for live events, gaining insight into the sports and events industry.
