I am a creative, intuitive and empathic individual, providing mental health care in the Twin Cities. I have loved spending my time working as a healer in the intersection of substance abuse and trauma and am currently earning my doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology at University of St Thomas.
- Working as a part of an integrative care team on an inpatient psychiatric unit, as well as an inpatient substance use treatment unit - Leading groups on inpatient psychiatric unit on various psychoeducation topics - Completing safety plans for patient discharge from inpatient psychiatric unit - Administering individual therapy to patients on inpatient psychiatric and inpatient addiction medicine unit - Providing individual therapy on an outpatient basis at a hospital-based clinic - Administer various psychiatric batteries on both inpatient and outpatient levels, focused on diagnostic clarification, personality assessment, cognitive testing, and Therapeutic Assessment
- Administering and interpreting various psychological batteries, focused on ADHD testing and diagnostic clarification. - Writing of integrative reports from an integrative health perspective. - Preparing and delivering client feedback of assessment batteries. - Training and administration of the Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale – Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV). - Trained in administration and interpretation of Delis Kaplan Executive Functioning System (D-KEFS). - Training and administration of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory – Third Edition (MMPI-3).
- Provide diagnostic assessment incorporating structured assessment measures as well as ongoing individual therapy to people of all genders. - Trained in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing - Create and execute treatment plans for clients with varying diagnoses. - Work as a part of a multidisciplinary team diagnosing complex presentation first episode mood disorders in the Early Stage Mood Disorder Clinic. - Focus on treating adults with substance use disorder, as a part of the Addiction Medicine Clinic.
- Providing diagnostic assessments and ongoing one-on-one therapy to individuals experiencing or leaving domestic violence/sexual abuse circumstances. - Facilitating mental health groups (Trauma Skills, Co-Occurring Disorders, DBT groups) - Completing levels 1 + 2 of Complex Trauma Certification Training with Senorimotor and Internal Family Systems focus. - Received direct supervision from licensed mental health practitioners with specific training in providing trauma informed care.
