I have also carried out teaching duties within the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of La Laguna, including supervising master’s and bachelor’s theses. This contract is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the Ministry of Universities, Science, Innovation, and Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands.
Research Assistant contributing to the SATURN project (Solutions to Underwater Radiated Noise), an EU Horizon 2020 initiative focused on reducing underwater noise pollution through innovative solutions. During this time, I processed acoustic tagging data from short-finned pilot whales in southern Tenerife, prepared the relevant reports, participated in a project meeting in Cork (Ireland), and published three outreach articles in the project’s newsletter.
Assistant in data collection during oceanographic campaigns focused on the study of cetaceans in the Canary Islands, as part of the ULL Cetacean Research Team. Additionally, I assisted in analyzing the data obtained from these campaigns in collaboration with various projects.
