As a Compliance Officer & Chemist at a global garment trims company, my responsibilities encompass a range of key tasks: - Corporate RSL Standardization & Compliance: Establish and maintain the comprehensive company Restricted Substances List (RSL) that encompasses requirements from major global brands. Translate complex regulatory updates into actionable guidelines for production teams and suppliers to ensure seamless compliance. - Brand RSL Review & Cross-Functional Alignment: Review brand-specific RSLs and testing protocols to support the Sales Team in technical communications with clients, focusing on chemical compliance alignment. - ZDHC MRSL Compliance & Factory Training: Overhaul and monitor chemical management at production sites to ensure ZDHC MRSL compliance. Guide factories in maintaining Chemical Inventory Lists (CIL) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), verify ChemCheck and ECO Passport certifications, and deliver technical training and troubleshooting to onsite teams. - Global Certification & ESG Oversight: Oversee multi-tier supply chain certifications, ensuring compliance with global standards including BSCI, SA8000, Higg FSLM, GRS, FSC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. - Core Audit Expertise: Leverage deep, hands-on experience in successfully steering facilities through SMETA social audits and securing OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certifications to maintain premium corporate compliance credentials.
1. Evaluate and assign appropriate testing services to laboratory 2. Ensure the daily task is able to fulfil the TAT requirement 3. Perform contract review, sample breakdown list preparation and test assignment for routine testing according to client requirement or specification 4. Breakdown jobs status monitoring 5. Assist to review and approve breakdown list 6. Handle customer enquiry and provide quotation
