Writer and editor with experience across communications, policy research, editorial leadership, and speechwriting. At the Foreign Policy Association, I edit a flagship publication with 600,000 readers nationwide. My background includes reporting on municipal government and more for the New Haven Independent, freelance bylines in The Hartford Courant etc., research on prison healthcare policy at Tufts Medical Center, and volunteer work with the Prison Journalism Project supporting incarcerated writers. I studied American Studies and Writing at Vassar, where I served as Student Body President and received the 2024 Jane Dealy and Woodrow Wirsig Prize for Excellence and Promise in Journalism.
Lead the editorial department. Editing credits on Great Decisions 2025, Great Decisions 2026, Journal of Cultural Diplomacy, Peace Through Power (UN Charter), South Korea & U.S. Special Edition, etc.
Lead editorial initiatives, oversee academic articles from initial drafts through publication including content editing, image selection, and supervising design and fact checking processes for Great Decisions. Also craft speeches and strategic content and advise leadership on campaigns and formulating new publications.
After running a successful campaign for this elected position, I obtained valuable leadership skills while directly overseeing more than 10 directors and committee chairs as well as representing the student body as a whole. In this role, I liaised between the student body and Vassar's administration, advised campus leadership, gave speeches at campus events, and worked to advocate for and empower students. I navigated difficult conversations and protected the students I was elected to represent.
Helped conduct studies and write grants about harm reduction and HIV prevention in prisons. Mainly conducted interviews and researched the history of prison riots pertaining to healthcare issues.
Re-elected three times as class senator for Vassar’s class of 2024, served on college committees and did advocacy work for my classmates.
