Florida Virtual School junior pursuing a future career in physics with a focus on nuclear power, with an additional interest in political science.
I develop lesson plans, guide students through math concepts, and help improve their confidence and problem-solving skills.
I worked at the Community First Igloo ice rink as a seasonal employee.
During my time at MOSH, I gained hands-on experience in STEM education and museum operations. I earned 365 volunteer hours and was honored with the Gold President's Volunteer Service Award, as well as the Excellence in Volunteering Award. I helped design and facilitate STEM activities for campers, engaged participants to enhance their learning, and developed organizational systems for materials. I also coordinated and mentored volunteers, assisted with interactive scientific demonstrations, and provided educational support to guests. Additionally, I contributed to behind-the-scenes operations by creating written guides for activities, assisted with managing a large stockroom renovation project, and led volunteers and trainees on the floor.
