Strengthening and developing capability for safety in an innovative forestry based organisation. While in the role I developed and built a Health and Safety Management System that was fit for purpose in a high risk industry.

Working with the Stevedoring management team to build capability and performance in Stevedoring. This was a secondment role to assist with performance reviews, performance management, Covid 19 mandate requirements as well as the continuation of my previous role in managing the operational training requirements of Stevedoring.

A key member of organisational project groups for creating and delivering new initiatives in workplace H&S and new resources.

While in the role I was instrumental in redesigning the scope of the degree to meet the new structure of the NZQA guidelines and worked alongside the team to gain a rating of Excellence in Educational outcomes during the External Evaluation and Review of NMIT by NZQA.
