A week long temp role for holiday cover. Sweet and Chilli is a vibrant and buzzing event management company. In this role, I managed the front of house, answered the phone and emails and gave access to colleagues, deliveries and guests. I booked flights and hotels for colleagues and assisted with any other admin tasks.
I was fortunate enough to return to the hotel for the Summer of 2022, the first ‘back to business as usual’ Summer for Ibiza after the pandemic, resulting in the busiest. Due to Brexit, the hotel was unable to hire many British staff like they had once used to. Because of this, my role had a lot more authority and I was able to deal with fast paced emergency situations and challenging complaints with no assistance. Working as a team was key for this Summer to run as smoothly as it did. I worked very closely with Spanish security, medical staff, Maintenance and the reception team to create an environment that guests feel safe and valued in, after all the customer comes first. I am highly passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, I genuinely believe if you can make a first impression the best it can be, be remembered for helping someone and going the extra mile you can make a business stand out above the rest. Because of my dedication and professional work ethic, in July 2022 I received Employee of the Month for outstanding performance, commitment and professionalism to the role.
