I am Chief Executive Officer of apo.com Group, one of the most modern and innovative digital pharmacies in Europe with the main brands apodiscounter.de as well as apo.com. apo.com Group operates a fully automated, AI-supported and innovation-focused logistics center in Duiven (Netherlands) since 2020. Until end of March 2021, I was Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) and Executive Committee Member of Curaeos B.V.. Private Equity-owned Curaeos is a fast-growing platform of dental clinics and labs, with activities in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Denmark and Italy. Before, I have been the CEO of Ottobock, a leading medical technology company with 7.000 professionals in the areas of Prosthetics, Orthotics, Human Mobility and MedicalCare. I have successfully started the next chapter of Ottobock’s performance further differentiating through increasing cost efficiency, launching innovations such as bionic exoskeletons and driving new digital business models -all embedded in a transformation program. Prior to serving as CEO of Ottobock, I’ve lead and grown the Health Practice (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices etc.) business at Kearney in the DACH region as Partner and Managing Director. Before that, I’ve worked for L’Oréal in field sales and consumer marketing and at Beiersdorf in the product development of Nivea products. I’ve studied chemistry and I am holding a PhD in chemistry/ biochemistry. My expertise includes business strategy, private equity, general mgmt., transformation programs especially digital transformation and cost reduction/ restructuring as well as marketing, sales and innovation.
