I founded this joint in 2000 and run my studio with a lot of passion and commitment. I am the primary contact for our customers, strategy consultant and problem solver. In addition to management, I am heading the ideation and creative processes. In more than 30 years of professional experience I gained profound knowledge in planning and managing projects and leading teams. After my product design degree at the Karlsruhe University of Design, I worked as a staff designer for many renowned customers. This experience is supplemented by additional qualifications in marketing. Furthermore, I have given help and advice to some start-ups and spin-offs what has added to my product communications experience. As a hands-on designer I turned out to be quite talented in CAD modeling. Using the highly professional software Alias I could gain numerous clients in the automotive industry. Today Schweizer Design Consulting is a design agency, which has designed for the highly demanding industrial design market for more than 25 years. Clients come from various sectors such as automotive, consumer goods, lifestyle, health, sports and leisure. Among those are owner-managed start-up companies, whose products and brands we have helped to shape from the beginning, as well as internationally established companies and corporations. Our work has gained numerous international awards and the large number of long-term, successful customer relationships underlines the quality of our designs and ability to maintain a good dialogue during cooperation. In my compact team, the members are characterized by a variety of skills, flexibility and personal interests. This allows for tasks and ideas to be processed by multiple heads and view sets. For coping with specific technical expertise or capacity peaks, we have a well-maintained network of freelance colleagues.
