Tasks conducted include: • Electromagnetic simulations (Meep, S4) of nanostructured photonic structures and fabrication of these using FIB (Focused Ion Beam); • Design and construction of a measurement setup for angle-resolved measurement of photoluminescence spectra; • Fabrication of atomic monolayers of semiconductor crystals (2D semiconductors) by mechanical exfoliation; • Investigation of the photoluminescence properties of the fabricated 2D semiconductors in interaction with the FIB-fabricated photonic structures.
