I’m a senior biopharma leader with 20+ years’ experience driving growth, launch excellence and organisational performance across Irish and European markets. My career has spanned Medical Affairs, commercial, marketing and cross-functional leadership roles across ophthalmology, neurology, oncology, psychiatry and cardiovascular medicine. Secondment to the Region Europe Medical Team. I developed and delivered two preceptorship programmes in Multiple Sclerosis, for neurologists, at a European Centre of excellence. Developed strong partnerships across the region within Novartis and with the centre of excellence to scope, develop and deliver top quality educational programmes. Both preceptorships were delivered on time and within budget and were very well received by the attending Neurologists. I also developed the concept and scope for a multidisciplinary advisory board to look at key issues in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis in Europe. This important initiative was delivered successfully through careful strategic alignment, internal stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership at Global, Regional and country level.
